Thea has over 30 years experience in the practice of Interior Design. Her belief is that communication is key to good design and execution. She approaches projects with a simple, fresh sensibility while maintaining the spirit of her clients’ style. This results in an ideal partnership and design solution.

She has expertise in all phases of the architectural, interior design and construction process - from space planning and construction documents to the selection of finishes and furnishings.  She also manages project budgets, coordinates construction schedules and facilitates communication with engineers, builders and other key players.

She has managed a wide range of projects, from large commercial to small residential, and enjoys having a variety of design challenges. 

Thea started her own business in 2010. For 17 years prior to that, she was a Project Manager for a small architectural firm in Knoxville, Tennessee where there was a heavy integration of Architecture and Interior Design. This greatly expanded her knowledge in these disciplines and resulted in her signature, all-round design process.

She received her B.S. in Interior Design from Florida State University and moved to Washington, DC to start her professional career. Thea makes her home in Staunton, VA where she lives with her 2 dogs and 2 horses.
